I'm happy to report that starting Monday, May 22, the City will begin grinding off the old streets in order to re-pave them this spring. The great news is that all of the remaining streets in the subdivision will be resurfaced this year.
As they are doing their work, travel on those streets will be impacted. You'll need to get your cars off the road and out of your driveways by 7:00 a.m. If you recall when they did Calaveras Drive, it is quite common for them to be firing up their machines at or before that hour.
In similar fashion, they often work past 5:00 p.m. in the evening. Be prepared to park elsewhere until the crew is finished working in front of your home. These are minor inconveniences that will yield a great roadway for Sierra this summer.
Exciting times in the hood!
